Gotta Catch ‘Em All! Indianapolis Hotspots for Pokemon!

The game has only been here for a short time, but already we are in love with Pokemon Go! This augmented reality game available at our fingertips allows us to explore Indianapolis in a whole new way while we catch our favorite Pokemon! Here are a few hotspots around Indianapolis where we have had excellent luck with finding Pokemon and PokeGyms!
Pokemon Near Canal Walk
Indy’s renowned Canal Walk is always fun to stroll through, but now that Pokemon are lurking around, there is even more to explore! We have found several water Pokemon like Magikarp, Poliwag, and the beloved Squirtle near the Canal. Other Pokemon that we have captured are the rare Tauros and Cubone.
PokeGyms Around Military Park
From the Canal Walk, you can make your way to Military Park, where we have caught many Pokemon! We had extremely good luck near Monument Circle, along with the Central Library and Indiana War Memorial (where we found two PokeGyms), which are also nearby!
Pokemon Found Near Fountain Square
While you are checking out the cultural gems of Indianapolis in the Fountain Square area, you will have excellent luck catching Pokemon like we did!
PokeStops at the Indianapolis Zoo
We always love checking out the Indianapolis Zoo, especially now that there are so many new baby animals! Thanks to the destination’s popularity, it is loaded with Pokemon and PokeStops!
PokeGyms Around Broad Ripple Neighborhood
If you are willing to travel a little bit to find rare Pokemon, we definitely recommend checking out the Broad Ripple neighborhood, located in the northern outskirts of Indianapolis! The exercise trail in the neighborhood’s park has ten PokeStops and three PokeGyms alone!
